Kristin Chenoweth supports adoptions with Father's Day sweets
Glee star Kristin Chenoweth is encouraging you to take dad out for a sweet treat this Father's Day in support of adoption.
"I was adopted," Chenoweth told SheKnows. "It's always been a big part of my life, working with kids that need families."
And Chenoweth is doing just that this Father's Day as she helps out with Wendy's "Frosty Weekend" in support of the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption.
For every Frosty purchased, Wendy's will donate fifty cents to the charity.
"I haven't met anyone who doesn't like them!" Chenoweth said, encouraging people to take their dads to Wendy's for the sweet treat. "Chocolate is my Achilles' heel."
Chenoweth said she plans on taking her dad out this weekend for a Frosty when she visits him in Denver.
"I'm going to get to be with my dad this Sunday and that's the best gift ever because I travel a lot," said Chenoweth.
Chenoweth has been extremely busy lately between recording a new album, working on her ABC show Good Christian Belles, and possibly heading back to Broadway.
But the actress still finds time for love in between all of this, and hopes to have a family of her own one day.
"I'm quietly dating," Chenoweth told SheKnows. "If it works out for me to be a mom someday, I can totally see myself adopting. I'd like to do it with a partner but if that doesn't happen, it would be great too."
As for whether we'll see Kristin Chenoweth back on Glee, she told SheKnows, "I don't know... ask Ryan Murphy!"
