Lady Gaga rallies fans to pray for Clarence Clemons
Lady Gaga is rallying her fans to send all the positive energy they can out to Clarence Clemons.
Lady Gaga wants her little monsters to send their get well wishes to her friend and collaborator Clarence Clemons.
Clarence Clemons suffered a stroke Sunday night, and Lady Gaga went straight to Twitter to ask her little monsters to make get well videos to raise his spirits.
"Little monsters, my very close friend + musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick," she tweeted. "Can we all make some get well videos?"
Clemons, a legendary saxophonist who has been playing with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since 1972, worked with Lady Gaga on her Born This Way album and performed The Edge of Glory with her on the American Idol finale.
Lady Gaga later tweeted, "In bed with Mommy thinking about Clarence, I can't wait for you to see the beautiful video we made together."
"He's a really special person."
While Clemons' condition was initially believed to be very, very dire, since undergoing emergency brain surgery on Monday he is said to be responsive and in stable condition.
