The father of Mike Sorrentino has learned how to drum up some publicity — attack your more-famous relatives on YouTube.
Frank Sorrentino, father of the Jersey Shore star, has released a series of YouTube videos in which he rips The Situation apart — all to help him get his own book deal and reality show.
Here are some choice words from father to son:
“You’re all for yourself… You’re full of [expletive].”
“I know you, I stood up for you,” he continues. “I put my [expletive] balls on the line for you a hundred [expletive] times… when you couldn’t. I ask you one [expletive] favor and you tell me to go [expletive] be like a regular [expletive] Joe Blow and go on welfare? No, my friend. I don’t do that.”
“You know what Mike? When you get to the top and you forget where you come from, somebody should remind you. I just want to remind you. That’s it. I love my son, but he broke my heart. And that’s what this is all about.”
What brought on all this vitriol? Sources say The Situation crossed the line when he refused to help his father pay for his medical insurance, allegedly telling the man to “move to Florida and go on welfare.” Nice.
What does Mike think about all this? He released a statement through his people:
“Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s father has unfortunately decided to go public with some statements regarding Mike Sorrentino to garner himself media attention. Mike is extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions and the Sorrentino family, Marc, Frank Jr., Melissa and their mother Linda, remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances. We are not offering any further comment at this time and are seeking the advice of legal counsel.”
A rather messy Situation, don’t you think?
