By the time Adam Shankman is done casting his big screen take of Rock of Ages, everyone who is hot in Hollywood will be a part of it -- Bryan Cranston included!

Adam Shankman wants the movie-musical version of Rock of Agesto be big -- and what better way to make that happen than by casting it with Hollywood's biggest names? The latest added to the list of Rock of Ages star-power is Breaking Bad actor, Bryan Cranston!

Director Adam Shankman is known for making his Rock of Ages casting announcements via his Twitter account and couldn't wait to share the news of Bryan Cranston's addition to the cast! "So Honored. Bryan Cranston is joining the cast of #rockofagesmovie! LA has a mayor!"

That's, right! The three-time Emmy winner will play the mayor in Rock of Ages! Cranston is joining big names like Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough and Catherine Zeta-Jones for the New Line flick!

His role as the mayor who turns his back on the sexy side of rock and roll for "clean living" will be a fantastic part for the popular actor.
