Jersey Shore allowed in Italy with conditions
The cast of Jersey Shore will finally be heading to Italy -- as long as they follow a few rules.
The entire country of Italy was less-than-thrilled to learn that the cast of Jersey Shore would be bringing their guidoliciousness to the beautiful, historic nation. In fact, there was talk of not allowing the show to film there, period. However, the mayor of Florence has agreed to allow the show to come to his city -- with a few conditions.
In an Italian newspaper, Mayor Matteo Renzi laid out the following rules:
The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food.
Renzi also said that no Jersey Shore filming is allowed inside any of the incredibly beautiful and historic buildings.
So basically, the entire show will be the cast getting drunk in their apartment. Fascinating.
