Celebs who'd make a great love match
Hollywood is full of couples who don’t last more than what seems like five minutes. Between relationships gone wrong and hookups that never should have happened, some celebs just can’t seem to get it together. We could do better in creating Hollywood pairings with potential -- see if you agree with our celeb dating wish list.
Ryan Gosling & Scarlett Johansson
Johansson has been cuddling up with the much older Sean Penn, but when she gets sick of his notoriously cranky ways, she should run into Ryan Gosling's well-toned arms. These two celebs are gorgeous and evenly matched in the acting department. We can just picture them cuddled up on the couch comparing scripts or discussing the directors with whom they most want to work. Mostly though, Gosling and Johansson simply would look amazing together.
Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway
These two were adorable in Love and Other Drugs, but we'd like to see them make a relationship work off screen, too. They're both easy on the eyes and seem very compatible. They both have a serious side balanced with a goofy side -- they'd have great conversation and be able to make each other laugh. If love ever blossomed between them, we're willing to bet it would last.

James Franco & Cameron Diaz
This may seem like a strange pairing at first, but read on. Franco, though undeniably talented, has been taking himself a little too seriously lately -- plus, he seemed half asleep hosting the Oscars. He needs to lighten up (and wake up). Enter Cameron Diaz: She's fun, she's sexy, she likes to laugh -- and the last thing she would do is take anything too seriously. She'd help him have more fun and take the time to enjoy life rather than remaining Hollywood's biggest workaholic.

Ryan Reynolds & Jennifer Aniston
While we've earmarked the other Ryan for Johansson, we think her ex, Ryan Reynolds, would be a good match for perpetual singleton Aniston. Sure, she goes on dates (the tabloids make sure to keep us updated), but her last several relationships lost steam before they ever got going. Reynolds is on a career high, which could give Aniston some much-needed box-office zing -- and with his track record, he might be able to guide her toward more interesting roles that don't have her playing the same character every time. Plus, they're both ultra tanned and toned, making them one aesthetically pleasing pair.
