The Vampire Diaries preview: Klaus
The Vampire Diaries is not kidding around with the final episodes of season two. We've seen Elijah staked, Bonnie "sacrificed" in a wicked plan of Damon's and now Klaus is wreaking havoc on Mystic Falls via Alaric! Do you have your defibrillators on hand? You might need them this week with the return of Elijah and the detailed skinny on Klaus.
Did anyone else lose it at the end of last week's episode of The Vampire Diaries? You know, the part where Elena (Nina Dobrev) pulled the dagger out of Elijah (Daniel Gillies)? What was she thinking? This week's episode, called Klaus, should shed some light on our tragic heroine's plan, while giving us a bit more detail on the oldest vampire in history -- Klaus (Joseph Morgan).
Okay, we've seen the big, bad vampire Klaus channeled through Alaric but we've wanted to see him in the flesh and now we are -- sort of. Fans will get to see how Elijah, Klaus and Katherine (also Nina Dobrev) met, but more importantly what Klaus looked like back in the old days! Don't worry, we will get to see a modern-day Klaus -- just be patient.
Flashbacks aren't the only things going down in Mystic Falls this week. Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) find out that Elena released the dagger from Elijah, leaving him free to resurrect. She's convinced he'll make the perfect ally to take down Klaus -- but the brothers aren't so sure.
We all know what happens when there's tension in the ranks. Damon and Stefan fight each other over the best way to protect their precious Elena. This could lead to some fantastic fight scenes and witty cheap shots between the stressed Salvatore brothers.
We didn't get to see much of Jenna's (Sara Canning) reaction to the events that have unfolded but it looks like she's going to be put right in the thick of things.
Are you going to be tuning in to The Vampire Diaries to see the man behind the legend, Klaus? Check out a preview of Klaus and tell us what you think.
