We’re hanging out on the beach in Rio and who should we run into? Jamie Foxx and Will.i.am are in the South American city for the world premiere of Rio, their new animated film. Will.i.am and Foxx were swarmed by the Brazilian press at the premiere, but we have them all to ourselves on Copacabana beach for an exclusive video interview.

In Rio, Will.i.am and Jamie Foxx portray, literally, birds of a feather.

Jamie Foxx stars in Rio

The duo lend their voices to a pair of birds who befriend Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) who has come to Rio to meet Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and hopefully save the rare blue macaw population by producing baby birds!

Both Will.i.am and Foxx not only star in Rio, but also contribute to the soundtrack -- executive produced by Brazilian music legend Sergio Mendes (stay tuned for his interview).

We got Will and Jamie to talk about what they most admire about each other including Foxx's unparalleled respect for Will and how his Black Eyed Peas are taking over music as well as how Will found the movie-making process.

Will.I.Am in Rio

Foxx was cooler than cool in our interview. The man who is equally adept in movies, television and music is a superstar, yet his demeanor was that of someone who truly appreciates all his good fortune.

Foxx and Will.i.am also dish what it is about the city of Rio that has captured imaginations for centuries. We, for one, could not be more enamored of all that is Rio, the film and this marvelous city.
