Kirstie Alley lost her shoe — literally — during her waltz on Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars. Did the star make it through and wow the judges? Read on to find out!
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy suffered another whoops during their performance this week on Dancing With the Stars — her shoe came off.
While the judges forgave the dancing duo’s fall last week, they had mixed reviews this week. “You are the queen of the unexpected mishap!” judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Alley. “Oddly, when the shoe fell off and you put it back on, you had so much more joy (than you did with both shoes on).”
Judge Len Goodman wasn’t wowed by Alley and Chmerkovskiy’s waltz, saying, “Everything was okay, but everything needs to improve. Posture is okay, needs to be stronger. Your footwork is okay, but it needs to be cleaner. Movement is okay, needs to flow more.”
Ever the optimist, Bruno Tonioli felt a bit differently. “I thought you did amazingly well! You’re light on your feet and you got great musicality — in spite of what happened, you did a fantastic performance! Proud!”
Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy managed a score of 22, which was one point higher than last week’s score when they fell. So, the secret here is that if you do a bigger flub each week you’ll keep adding a point to your score?
Kirstie Alley is becoming the girl who keeps on going when it comes to the Dancing With the Stars dance floor and we like it!
