Fergie says she's focusing on Josh Duhamel in 2011
Fergie says she's taking some time off this year to focus on her relationship with husband Josh Duhamel and do some deep-cleaning at home. Is a baby next?
Are you waiting anxiously for the follow-up album to Fergie's 2006 solo album The Dutchess? Well sorry, you'll be waiting awhile longer: The Black Eyed Peas singer is dedicating 2011 as "The year of Josh Duhamel."
"I've got a lot on my plate and this year is more about simplifying and really paying attention to the projects that I have on my plate and spending some time with the hubby, you know?" Fergie told Access Hollywood on Wednesday.
So, what's on the plate for the couple?
"Cleaning out my closet. That's been a big thing this year -- huge for me -- purging and splurging… I finally am at the place where I'm letting it go. I'm cleaning things out and I'm starting to make more purchases for myself," Fergie said.
And maybe a baby?
"Am I getting broody? Oh, definitely! But I want to finish this [Black Eyed Peas] tour first before I start a family," Fergie told the UK's Daily Mail in 2009.
"You can be a mother and still be completely sexy," the singer told the UK version of Cosmopolitan in 2009.
But there is one thing she won't do with a newborn -- tour.
"Even if I wanted to get pregnant, there's no way I could perform on stage and be pregnant, I would feel too guilty. Once I have children, the kids come first."
