Seann William Scott has signed on to do another American Pie sequel -- right after entering rehab!

Seann William Scott is bringing his perpetually immature party animal character of Steve Stifler back to the big screen in another American Pie movie -- but filming is due to start in only a few weeks, and the actor just entered rehab.

Scott entered rehab for unspecified "health and personal issues." Did a little too much of Stifler rub off on him?

"Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues," his reps said in a statement. "He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time."

Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy have already signed on to the new American Pie project. Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan and Mena Suvari are still in negotiations.

The American Pie franchise has spun off several straight-to-video releases, but this new flick will be the fourth true installment of the story. Filming is set to start May 24.
