Lil Wayne releases Super Bowl song
There is a long history of trash talking the opposing team in the lead-up to Super Bowl Sunday. Well, Lil Wayne has taken it to a whole new level. He's just recorded a brand new song in support of the Green Bay Packers. Check it out below.
It is no longer enough to blow raspberries and trash talk the opposing team before Super Bowl Sunday. Even if you do nothing but eat chips on the couch and watch the commercials, you know who's in it by the glares you get from fans on the opposite side if you wear the wrong colors.
Steelers fans have Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow, and now Packers fans have their anthem. Lil Wayne has written a brand new anthem to support the Green Bay Packers who will be taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. It's called Green and Yellow and he's not pulling any punches.
Lil Wayne even takes on the big issues like immigration reform. (I'm kidding, I swear! Just talking about this line: "This is Green Bay, we go hard/This is Packers' country/Where yo' green card?") He also disses the lovely locks of Troy Polamalu, singing, "We knocked the Eagles and the Falcons and the Bears off/Now we 'bout to cut Troy Polamalu's hair off." Personally, I'd love to know what shampoo the guy uses. Can you tell I'm not a football fan?
Check it out below and let us know what you think. Be warned though, some of the lyrics are for adults only. Not that your kids haven't heard them. The warning is so you don't feel all creepy finding out that they have.
