Charlie Sheen rushed to the hospital
In the latest setback for Charlie Sheen personally, the Two and a Half Men star was rushed early Thursday morning to a Los Angeles hospital complaining of severe abdominal pain.
As the executives at CBS have recently come forward commenting on their concerns for their star's health, the news of Sheen's emergency room visit has to raise more eyebrows.
Charlie Sheen was taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills and his condition is not currently known other than for what he was admitted to the hospital. Los Angeles Fire Department officials reported that they received a 911 call at 6:35 a.m. and dispatched an ambulance and fire department staff to Sheen's Beverly Hills neighborhood.
"The call was medical in nature," the L.A. Fire Department spokesperson said. "We transported at least one individual from that location to a local hospital."
At least one individual?
Who else was in the ambulance with Sheen? Makes you wonder, no?
This is the latest chapter in the book on Sheen's life that does not seem to bode well for the talented actor. After years of substance abuse, Sheen seemed to come out of the drug and alcohol-fueled haze and find unmatched career success with Two and a Half Men. In the last few years, however, Sheen has descended into a well-documented bender that seems to show no end.
Is this latest trip to the hospital related to his binges? Time will tell, but one thing is for certain: Charlie Sheen hasn't enjoyed any good news in what seems like quite a while.
We'll keep you posted as to Sheen's condition as news arises.
