Gwyneth Paltrow takes over Saturday Night Live!
Gwyneth Paltrow flexed her comedy and singing muscles while playing Saturday Night Live host to rave reviews.
The Gwyneth Paltrow train isn't showing any signs of slowing down as Saturday's stop on the Saturday Night Live stage proved she's just beginning.
Gwyneth Paltrow couldn't show up on Saturday Night Live and not bust out in song. The late night show took complete advantage of the Oscar winner's pipes, opening the show with a Paltrow and Jason Sudeikis-infused Kenny Rogers performance of Islands in the Stream. Paltrow also let her hair down to dish out her best Taylor Swift impression during a sketch dedicated to a Bar Mitzvah boy. Just picture Paltrow's Bar Mitzvah take on Swift's You Belong With Me -- we still are!
The multi-talented star also had some fun with musical guest Cee Lo Green, introducing his performance as a music mogul who needed a bleep button handy. While we were hoping for a Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow duet of Forget You, it was still fabulous to watch her as a potty-mouthed music exec. The musical fun didn't stop there. Gwyn showed up to perform with the parodied Garth and Kat for the Weekend Update segment. It was a Gwyneth Paltrow singing spectacular.
Paltrow is coming at us from every angle these days. She's on our TVs, radios and movie screens as her new movie Country Strong just hit theaters and she'll soon be seen reprising her role as Holly Holiday onGlee.
What's your favorite Gwyn guilty pleasure? Rocking to her music, watching her movies or taking over Glee?
