New Year's is upon us and this year, that means more than just resolutions and diets -- Oprah's new network OWN launches January 1, 2011!

At the stroke of midnight, the ball will drop, kisses will be exchanged, the Discovery Health Channel will be no more and in its place, the new Oprah 24-7 cable network will go live with Countdown to OWN.

Orpah Winfrey's Network: OWN

A morning of previews and star interviews will lead up to a one-hour special at noon, Oprah's Guide to OWN: The New Oprah Winfrey Network. Oprah offers a sneak peek of her network's new shows and then, she lets them speak for themselves.

It seems not all of the OWN original programming is actually ready for the January 1, 2011 launch, though much of it will premiere during the first week of 2011.

At 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. January 1, Oprah Presents Master Class premieres, with Jay-Z as the featured master.

Then from 8 to 10 p.m., OWN will air back to back episodes of Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes, which goes backstage for the final season premiere of The Oprah Winfrey Show and then gets into some on location drama.

Most of the other new series are set to premiere by January 2, 5 or 7, including Your Own Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star, Dr. Phil, Ask Oprah's All Stars (withDr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Suze Orman), Cristina Ferrare's Big Bowl of Love and Anna and Kristina's Grocery Bag.

In the meantime, viewers can enjoy sneak peek episodes previewing shows like Enough Already with Peter Walsh, Searching For…, Miracle Detectives and In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman.

The Discovery Health series Mystery Diagnosis and Deliver Me will also join the OWN programming lineup. Other shows set to enter the OWN roster in 2011 include Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind, Gayle King Live!, Why Not? With Shania Twain, Breaking Down the Bars, Inside with Lisa Ling, The Swell Life and Kidnapped by the Kids.

OWN will be available on Comcast, Cablevision, Time Warner, Cox, Charter, DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T U-Verse and Verizon Fios and almost every other cable television distributor. To find OWN on your TV, click here.

If you can't wait two days for the OWN launch, the OWN website is already up and running.
