Sister Wives star Kody Brown marries fourth wife

Kody Brown, star of TLC’s polygamy reality show, Sister Wives, is not satisfied with only three wives. It appears that Kody Brown has married wife number four.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown made an honest woman of fiance number four, Robyn Sullivan, a few months ago during a private religious ceremony in Utah.

The cast of Sister Wives

If we add Robyn Sullivan’s three children from a previous marriage to Kody Brown’s thirteen children and three current wives, that’s a total of 21 family members. Move over Brady Bunch kids, there’s a new family in town.

For those of you following Sister Wives on TLC, I hate to disappoint you, but cameras were not allowed to film the nuptials. The reception, however, was fair game. It will reportedly be featured on an episode of the show, with some of the juicy events leading up to the big day airing on this past Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives.

Kody Brown’s decision to show his polygamist world on camera isn’t leaving the wife-abundant reality star answering to just viewers. He’s allegedly answering to the law as well. recently reported that police in Utah have opened a bigamy investigation into the polygamy-practicing family. Bigamy is a third-degree felony in Utah. I didn’t know that. But then again, I don’t spend much time giving it a thought!

The trick in the law is that a person can be guilty of bigamy through cohabitation, not just marriage bindings. They’ve got you coming and going, don’t they? “We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation, but when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly, our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking,” the family told Access Hollywood in a statement.

Word around the talk show circuit is the Sister Wives family visited The Oprah Winfrey Show for a chat in an episode to air sometime this week.

What do you think? Are four wives better than one? Should Kody Brown be left alone or answer to the law? We want to know what you think.
