Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson split again
Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson have gone their separate ways. Again.
That brings Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson's grand total of break-ups to about half a dozen.
Back in October 2008, Wood reportedly dumped her shock rocker beau after Manson tried to kick Wood's brother, Ira, out of their guest house. But the actress quickly issued a statement saying, "Manson and I both decided to take some time apart so we could concentrate on work. Someone used that opportunity to kick us while we were down and sell a completely false story. Manson owns the house he lives in. My brother has never stayed there and the person that said such horrible things about Manson being 'controlling' and 'emotionally abusive' is certainly no source 'close' to me. Manson has been by my side and taken care of me through the best and worst times. I love him as a person and as an artist."
That love was quickly forgotten as Wood was reportedly hooking up with her Wrestler co-star, Mickey Rourke, within a month and, soon after, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
But by February 2009, Evan and Marilyn were rumored to be back together after they were spotted heading to a room at the W Hotel in Westwood together on a Saturday and emerging Sunday morning, with Manson saying he was "waiting for his girlfriend" when Wood appeared and the two jumped into a waiting car.
Still, in August and September of 2009, after Wood joined the cast of True Blood and co-starred with Alexander Skarsgard, in the film Straw Dogs, they were rumored to be an item.
Finally, in December, Manson and Wood made their liaison public and announced they had gotten engaged in Paris.
Now, the couple is done -- for the millionth time -- and looking for love in all new places.
Manson was spotted at STK in West Hollywood on Saturday night with his bassist Twiggy Ramirez, Playboy bunny Colleen Shannon and an unidentified brunette who Manson reportedly referred to as his new girlfriend.
But we're not counting Evan Rachel Wood out just yet. With this revolving door duo, we wouldn't be surprised if they were back together by Labor Day.
