Jennifer Love Hewitt has lived a double life. While her beautiful face has been seen on TV and movie screens for more than two decades, she has been a huge pop star in Asia for almost as long. Now the double threat can add prostitute to her career list -- at least, as a character in the new Lifetime movie The Client List.

Texas-born Jennifer Love Hewitt started her career at the age of 10 after moving to LA on the advice of local talent scouts. She quickly started booking commercials, racking up 20 in a short time. She got her first big break in 1989 when she was cast on the Disney Channel variety show Kids Incorporated, billed as "Love Hewitt."

Jennifer Love Hewitt parlayed her vocal and acting talent into a role in 1993's Sister Act II, then turned to several short-lived TV series before landing the role as Sarah Reeves in the much-beloved Fox drama Party of Five. During the run of that show, she again took to the silver screen with the starring role in I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel, as well as the teen comedy Can't Hardly Wait.

When Party of Five ended in 1999, Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in the spin-off Time of Your Life, a coming-of-age story that was disappointingly cancelled after half a season. But Jennifer Love Hewitt kept on going, producing and starring in The Audrey Hepburn Story, appearing as the love interest in the video for the Enrique Iglesias song Hero, and voicing the character of Madellaine in The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (as well as writing the song I'm Gonna Love You for the flick).

When cameras starting rolling on The Ghost Whisperer in 2005, Jennifer Love Hewitt quickly became a weekly favorite in living rooms around the world. Although the drama was cancelled by CBS, ABC has expressed a strong interest in picking it up and has asked Jennifer and the other cast members to not take any other jobs in the meantime.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Love Hewitt has been better known as a singer in much of the world. She has released six albums, and although only a couple of her singles have achieved even marginal success in the States, she's become a huge pop star in Asia and still enjoys a great deal of musical recognition in the area.

Along the way, Jennifer Love Hewitt has won 10 awards, including multiple Young Artist, Blockbuster Entertainment, MTV Movie, Teen Choice, People's Choice, Kids' Choice, DVD Exclusive, Saturn and TV Land Awards.

What's next for Jennifer Love Hewitt? A decidedly saucy role in Lifetime's The Client List, playing a woman who turns to prostitution to save her family from economic ruin. Hewitt's character gets called out on her hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold routine when she's busted by cops and it's revealed she kept workin' it for kicks long after her family's bills were paid up. With Cybill Shepherd playing her disapproving mother, the made-for-TV movie is sure to be a hit for the cable channel -- and another notch in the belt of this talented performer.
