The body of Michael Jackson has finally been laid to rest two months after the performer's death. Let's hope the poor guy was well-preserved. The private ceremony was attended by close friends including Elizabeth Taylor, Chris Tucker, Lisa Marie Presley and Macaulay Culkin who were made to wait in the summer heat for almost two hours by a tardy Jackson family.
DJ AM overdoses
Celebrity spinner DJ AM was found dead in his New York apartment of a suspected drug overdose. The former love interest of Nicole Ritchie and Mandy Moore was a recovering addict who had remained clean for nine years; it is thought that painkillers prescribed after his near-fatal plane crash made him relapse. Adam Goldstein -- his real name -- was found with a crack pipe under his body and multiple Oxycontin pills in his stomach.
LeAnn Rimes announces divorce
After months of treating the public -- and their spouses -- like idiots, LeAnn Rimes and her not-so-secret lover Eddie Cibrian cavorted in Mexico together on a romantic vacation days. Days later, Rimes announced her pending divorce to hubby Dean Sheremet.
