Jada Pinkett-Smith protects on HawthoRNe while America’s Got Talent seeks the nation’s best performer.
Do you ever wonder how much of what happens on reality shows was arranged by the producers? Take last night’s episode of The Bachelorette. Instead of telling Jillian the truth about Wes and his girlfriend before he’s kicked off the show, Jake waits and comes back after making him look like a jealous, jilted lover. Wes denies the charges of course, saying he and his gal are just pals and who can say that’s not true. Has anyone seen them together, romantically, since the competition began? Apparently not or the producers would have sent that clip straight to Jake’s iPhone. So who gets eliminated at The Bachelorette rose ceremony? Not Wes. Insert sound of thousands of people screaming at their TV right here.
Last night ABC Family had another new episode of Make it or Break it. I’m still enjoying this show though it is so uneven in spots. I’m also surprised by how much time is being spent on the adult characters. Lauren’s dad is in a secret relationship with his assistant. Kaylie’s mom is having an affair with the coach and now it looks like he’s going to return to The Rock risking exposure. Emily’s mom is beginning to grate on me but sweet Zach Abel makes up for it with his screen time. I’ll be tuning in next week, for sure.
Today’s top TV picks:
Last week, supermodel Joanna Krupa and her partner football star Terrell Owens were the first to go home. Joanna was mad as a hatter but maybe she’ll cool off when she sees what she won’t have to go through tonight. First the teams will have to run a relay race through deep Bahamian sand, then it’s the long jump — over a lagoon. Everybody into the pool!
