Michael Jackson’s death sparks fake celeb obits

Jeff Goldbum is not dead. The words are haunting considering the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. But, the 56-year-old actor is very much alive and so are others who were reported deceased on June 25.

Jeff Goldblum is very much aliveGoldbum is, in fact,
shooting a movie with Rachel McAdams at the moment and very much alive. Harrison Ford is alive as well. Ford was another actor reported on
June 25 as having left us with nothing but a body of work.

The Michael Jackson death has sparked an array of celebrity news that actors, actresses or celebrities of any kind have made their way to
the other side. Untrue on so many levels, this day is about remembering Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.

These two icons did leave us with nothing but their body of work and the reporting of other celebrity deaths is irresponsible at best. Jeff Goldbum is very much alive as is Harrison Ford and these
reports to the contrary needs to stop before the hoax of celebrity death overtakes the losses that need to be mourned.

Two living legends died on one day. Three entertainment icons in the last week is what we are dealing with as an entertainment adoring public. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson – can you imagine the entertainment world without them? Hardly!

Jeff Goldbum dead and Harrison Ford dead… please!

But on a day where popular culture lost an icon more globally known than Elvis or The Beatles and another that personified joy and vivre, fake celeb obits have no place.
