Michelle Obama and girls visit Harry Potter set
Whenever Malia and Sasha Obama step out into the spotlight -- they get noticed. We haven't heard a lot about the First Daughters lately and that's probably because they're immersed in their school and trying to maintain a private life as much as possible. But on President Obama's recent trip abroad, his favorite girls enjoyed the fashion joys of Paris as well as the best of Britain.
The First Daughters spent time with their mother, First Lady Michelle Obama in England for an ordinary meal of fish and chips at a pub. After spending time with their dad, President Obama, in Paris, he returned to America to end his trip while Michelle and the girls stayed in Paris and then jetted to England.
Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama stepped into The Audley in Mayfair for a good ole fashioned staple in the UK. Could you imagine the pub owners' surprise when they entered unannounced? The girls ordered fish and chips while their mother ordered steak. A barman said they were very friendly.
The girls London trip wasn't complete without a visit to Big Ben, Harrods and yes, visiting Harry Potter! Michelle, Sasha and Malia went to Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire to visit the Harry Potter movie set. The next Harry Potter flick, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released in theaters in early July.
The First Daughters must have been in for a real treat on set! After all, in the next Harry Potter film he begins his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and finds an old book.
But it's not just any old book. Harry Potter notices the book says it's property of the Half-Blood Prince. Hmmm. He starts learning more about Lord Voldemort's dark past.
