SVU closes, Will Ferrell gets Wild

Will Ferrell tackles the Wild, Law and Order: SVU has its finale and Paris Hilton is still seeking My New BFF.

Last night I sat through fifteen minutes of NBC's new series I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! before switching to an old Numb3rs rerun on my DVR.

Spencer and Heidi laugh at John Salley

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! has ten low-level celebs trekking through the jungle on a survival mission in order to earn money for their favorite charities. Given the status of a few of these celebs, (American Idol's Sanjaya), I hope they get to keep a little something for themselves for their trouble.

I will admit to being drawn in while the two teams traversed rocky rivers and got acquainted with the local wildlife. Then I heard Heidi (The Hills) say she had no idea that she'd be living in such close quarters with strangers whom she didn't even know. In her defense, she may have been using the word stranger to denote their mental state and not there lack of familiarity. It was Jessica Simpson and the tuna can all over again. And as if two hours of this show wasn't bad enough, NBC is running an additional hour almost every night this week. The rules of the show are that the viewers can vote on who stays and who goes. Why don't we all ban together and vote everyone off the island right now.

While I figure out how to work that, you check what else is on tonight.

Tonight's top picks:

Law & Order: SVU

The team starts out investigating the death of a tourist in Central Park, but soon uncover a revenge plot that may involve one of their own. With no other options, Munch is forced to seek the help of his ex-wife played by Carol Kane. It's the end of another season and it sounds like someone isn't going to make it home tonight.

According to Jim

It's been a bumpy eight years for this Jim Belushi sitcom, but time and again they weathered the cancellation storm, but not tonight. Tonight, the series comes to a startling and very final end. Lee Majors, Erik Estrada and Dan Ackroyd all guest star.

Watch the series finale of According to Jim on ABC at 8:30.

Paris Hilton's My New BFF

Paris is looking for a new BFF. Will anyone watch?

We don't really know what happened to last year's new BFF, but apparently Paris Hilton is in the market for another one. Perhaps the first one came with an expiration date? This time around girls names Arika and Arielle and Desirae are ready to bow down and serve in hopes of becoming the next Hilton party pal.

Watch Paris Hilton's My New BFF at 10:00 on MTV.

Man Vs. Wild

Comedian Will Ferrell gets dropped into the freezing wilderness of northern Sweden where he'll trudge through waist-high snow and eat grilled reindeer eyeballs. It's all in the name of promotion as his new movie Land of the Lost premieres this week in theaters.
