Better off Ted keeps getting funnier while Idol results

Holly Madison and Steve Wozniak both shuffled off in Dancing with the Stars' first double elimination last night.

American Idol sends a singer homeI won't miss either one, and they really need another double in order to clean out the rest of the problem couples. Overall, the Dancing with the Stars results show was dull and I'm tired of hearing Samantha Harris talk through laryngitis. Stay home, Tom can handle it or bring back Drew Lachey, he was great.

American Idol was full of surprises last night as a few of the front-runners tumbled even further down (Megan, Lil, Matt) while Kris swooped in and trumped them all. His take on Ain't No Sunshine brought down the house and as always Adam stole the spotlight with his version of Play the Funky Music. He's adorable. I'm thinking Matt's going home tonight. He doesn't deserve it, but he's taken a turn for the boring and he's too interchangeable with Danny Gokey. (I know, they're nothing alike and yet...).

That's it for me – a couple of good shows on the grid tonight including a few premieres and finales. Check this out.

Tonight On TV -- Wednesday, April 1

Fox should easily take the night with a new Lie to Me and the American Idol results show.

CBS starts with some odd new show that has celebs working ordinary jobs in I Get That A Lot, then it's Criminal Minds, and CSI: NY.

The CW has a new America's Next Top Model and a rerun of 90210.

NBC removes Chopping Block from the lineup and goes with Law & Order: CI, a new Life, and then Law & Order. Much better.

ABC has an odd mixed bag of Scrubs, Better Off Ted, then Lost, and the finale of Life on Mars.
