Jai Ho! with the Pussycat Dolls? Two-time Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman sat down with the Pussycat Dolls and re-worked his international, Oscar-winning hit, Jai Ho!

Producer to the stars Ron Fair, who has worked with Christina and Fergie) also produced the track, working closely with Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. Listen to it here: Jai Ho! by the Pussycat Dolls and A.R. Rahman.

What they have produced has lost any of the original's power, in fact, with Nicole's vocals intertwined with Rhaman's, they produce a surprisingly effective musical chemistry.

The Dolls do Bollywood

The Pussycat Dolls are a busy bunch. The group is heading out on the road opening for superstar Britney Spears. After making a huge splash with their album Doll Domination, the Dolls are set to steal the Britney crowd each night from the pop princess. The Dolls put on an incredible show that has to have Britney a little nervous about following their sensational set.

Meanwhile, Slumdog Millionaire's soundtrack continues its chart climb following the film's success at the Oscars. Rahman won two Oscars, one for the best song – Jai Ho! – and the other for Best Score. Anyone who has seen the magical, best picture-winning film, has to agree with the Academy's sentiment. The soundtrack was as glorious as the film was masterful.

We cannot wait to see where Rahman takes his musical power next – whether to the airwaves with another supergroup that wants to pair like the Pussycat Dolls – or scoring his next film.

Jai Ho! featuring The Pussycat Dolls is available everywhere including iTunes and other online retailers.
