Private Practice gets a little Melrose love while American Idol closes its audition process.
Lie to Me. That may the name of the new hit show on Fox but it sure doesn’t apply at the American Idol auditions.
The American Idol judges spared no one again last night as they told people the truth about their lack of talent. There were two interesting singers late in the episode that had very unusual voices. I can see both of them going a long way, if only they can survive Hollywood week!
Top Chef was more complex than it needed to be last night when the current contestants went head-to-head in a Super Bowl themed episode. In a strange twist of fate, some of the best chefs ended up in the bottom three, Stefan, Fabio (my favorite) and Jeff. Jeff was let go and it was the only choice they could make. The kid gets tangled up in his own talent sometimes and it wasn’t likely that he would win. Can Leah go home next, please?
Still have Knight Rider, Law & Order and Fringe from the other day on my DVR! Looks like I’ve got some catching up to do and I should be able to do it tonight given the sorry state of the evening.
Tonight On TV — January 29

ABC is mostly reruns tonight with Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, and then a new Private Practice that has the adorable Grant Show moving to LA to begin working at Pacific Wellcare.

NBC if all reruns, My Name is Earl, Kath & Kim, The Office, 30 Rock, and ER.
The CW starts with a new Smallville and then it’s the ultimate horror show on Supernatural as Sam and Dean relive their high school days.
