Jonas Brothers surprise Obama girls
The Jonas Brothers surprised Sasha and Malia Obama and their friends with a visit to the White House on Inauguration night.
Sasha and Malia Obama invited several new pals from the Sidwell Friends School over to keep them company while mom and dad danced the night away at a long string of Inaugural Balls.
The girls watched two new Disney movies -- High School Musical 3 and Bolt -- then had a scavenger hunt, which had them running all over the White House and learning about the history of America's Home.
A similar night of activities was planned for a 12-year-old Chelsea Clinton when she first moved into the stately home in 1993.
At the end of the treasure hunt, Sasha and Malia opened a door to find the Jonas Brothers ready to play a set for the two girls and their friends. The brothers played three acoustic songs, posed for pictures and signed autographs for the disbelieving gaggle of girls.
The Jonas Brothers were already in town, having played the Kids Inaugural Ball, held Monday night.
"What an amazing show," Michelle Obama told the crowd. "You kids are the future of this great nation. At this moment in our nation's history, we wanted you to be able to join in this celebration."
