How psyched are we that Malia and Sasha Obama are in the White House? They spent their first White House night watching Disney movies and got a visit from the Jonas Brothers.
Okay, here’s the scoop when it came to inaugurating the first children. On January 19, Sasha and Malia enjoyed the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future Concert. The show was star-studded bash.
And if you think this concert was only for Malia and Sasha Obama, think again. Kids of all ages rocked to the Disney beat. The concert for the First Daughters included the teeny bop sensation, the Jonas Brothers and their hot hit, Burnin’ Up.
Miley Cyrus serenaded Malia and Sasha with her debut of a ballad called The Climb from her new movie, Hannah Montana: The Movie. Gotta get the plugs in whenever they can we suppose! The concert isn’t only for the teen and tween set so audiences near and far tuned in knowing the show wasn’t full of prepubescent acts (even though we think they’re really groovy despite our non-teen age!).
Malia and Sasha were privy to stars like Queen Latifah, Rosario Dawson, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Lucy Liu.
The special concert aired on the Disney Channel and we can only imagine how excited Malia and Sasha were the night before they became the nation’s First Daughters.
After a busy day on Inauguration Day where they looked fabulous in J. Crew, Sasha and Malia participated in a scavenger hunt where the big prize was a visit with The Jonas Brothers.
Did we mention how cool it is to live in the White House!
Here’s a priceless video from the event. The Jonas Brothers performing for their biggest fans. Watch for the Jonas’ to grab the First Daughters and bring them on stage. The most charming moment of the entire night was when the Jonas’ brought up Sasha and Malia to share a quick dance. Tell me those girls, if not already, are now the most popular kids at school!
