Bromance begins

American Idol (January 13), Flashpoint (January 9), Hell’s Kitchen (January 29) and Friday Night Lights (January 9) – some old favorites are returning to the TV schedule.

Deal or No Deal gets its kicks on NBCHope you all had a lovely holiday and I hope most of you are still on vacation through the New Year. Me, I’ll be sitting here gathering info on all of the new shows premiering in January. Fox has Lie to Me (January 21) while TNT wants you to Trust Me (January 26). The CW says Fear is Real (January 7) and ABC will take a closer look at Homeland Security (January 6).

Of course, all the usual suspects will be back with all new episodes beginning mostly around mid-January, so I am ready for the new year to begin! How about you?

But right now, it’s still mostly reruns. Let’s take a look.

Tonight On TV — Monday, December 29

Fox delivers reruns of House and Bones.

There’s a Gilligan’s Island movie in the works. (It just gets more and more exciting, doesn’t it?)

Mark Ballas pulled a groin muscle during The Dancing with the Stars tour, but don’t worry, he won’t be sidelined for very long. Photo credit:
