Harry Potter star Emma Watson on love
Emma Watson has revealed that unlike some of her bed-hopping contemporaries, the Harry Potter star is content to stay single until she finds her "knight in shining armor."
While her Harry Potter character Hermione got lucky with Ron Weasley, Emma hasn't had great luck thus far in the romance department.
Although linked to Razorlight's Johnny Borrell and drama student Angus Willoughby earlier this year, she says the glare of the spotlight was too much for the relationships to bear.
"Relationships are complicated enough without reading that you're breaking up or getting back together or cheating on one another every five minutes," Watson explains.
"Guys are either intimidated by me or they make fun of me."
"When I'm older I'd love to be married. Success is meaningless without someone to love," Watson says.
The star of Tale of Despereaux continues, "But he'll have to be intelligent, interesting and able to hold a conversation. Not someone who bores you out of your mind."
Watson is enjoying success outside of Harry Potter with The Tale of Despereaux. The animated film based on the instant kid classic is currently in theaters.
"There aren't a lot of gentlemen out there, unfortunately. But I'm waiting for my knight in shining armor. I'm sure he will come along at some point."
In The Tale of Despereaux, Watson provides the voice of Princess Pea.
