The curse of Sherlock Holmes
After a string of nasty on-set accidents, cast and crew of Guy Ritchie's new film Sherlock Holmes are wondering if the flick is cursed!
First, Robert Downey, Jr, who plays the famous detective, was knocked out cold by seven-foot tall, 350 pound co-star Robert Maillet during a fight scene. The actor was unconscious for six seconds and awoke drooling blood!
A source told The Sun, "Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold.
He didn't want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He's a trooper. But there have been lots of other problems too."
Then on Friday, Downey and co-star Jude Law - playing sidekick Watson - had to flee the set with Guy Ritchie when a tanker delivering gas to the set exploded into a huge fireball!
Luckily no one was injured, but the Sherlock Holmes set was forced to close for several hours.
"The crew have started joking about the curse of Sherlock Holmes," says the source.
