Britney Spears still controlled by daddy
She may have the number one song in the nation, but Britney Spears still has to answer to her father according to the courts.
The court has continued conservator Jamie Spears' hold over Spears' financial decisions.
Guess what Britney? Daddy knows best through the end of time.
The court determined that Britney was still not well enough to run her own affairs and that her father, Jamie, would continue as conservator until she's fully recovered from her psychiatric issues.
Don't fret Britney! The judge did say that whenever Spears feel well enough, she can petition the court to take back control of her financial well being. Spears will be under the periodic observation of court-ordered clinical experts.
"The conservatorship is necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence," so says the case's judge, Reva Goetz.
The hearing request came from the singer's camp, so one must assume that this current relationship is actually working for Spears.
These are also all smart moves in the effort to regain custody of her children.
