Project Runway closes while Private Practice and Lipstick Jungle are new
Project Runway does its finale tonight, but it was all glitz and glamour on my TV last night. Rachel Zoe dived into Oscar week headfirst. Shocking twists - her doctor says her stomach pains are caused by stress (no! really?) and everyone in the Zoe camp thinks having an anniversary party for 200 people during Oscar week is insane. Seriously, I want whatever tranquilizer her husband's taking because he is killing me with his calm.
Over in the ballroom, Dancing with the Stars tried to cover, but it was clear that no one would be eliminated last night and they weren't. Rocco was told he would have been sent home had it not been for Misty-May's accident but he's still in for next week.
I've also developed a new passion for Emeril Green on the new PlanetGreen Network. He haunts a local Whole Foods market for people with cooking challenges then shows them easy solutions. What makes this different is the shopping element. He takes the people through the store and gives them a mini-lesson in healthy eating that is easy to understand. I'm learning and so will you.
Nothing educational on tonight, just a bunch of great escapist TV and 'that's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it, uh huh, uh huh.'
Tonight On TV - Wednesday, October 8ABC is all new tonight and it begins with Pushing Daisies, Ned, Chuck and Emerson's investigation of a teen's disappearance leads them to a circus whose mortality rate raises a few eyebrows. On Private Practice, the staff pulls together to bring the struggling business out of bankruptcy. Then, on Dirty Sexy Money, musician Kenny G makes a guest appearance as the Darlings begin to recoup after more than one tragedy has rocked the family.
CBS pulls out the big guest star guns tonight but first it's The New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried. Next, on Criminal Minds, Luke Perry (original 90210 heart throb) guest stars as a cult leader who holds Prentiss and Reid captive during an undercover child abuse investigation. Then, on CSI: NY, Mac is aboard a D.C. bound flight where a fellow passenger may be the main suspect of a slain air marshal, the episode also features an appearance by rap artist Nelly.
Tyra has her "model" students practicing emotion, and the perfect pose on the CW's America's Next Top Model. Then it's a repeat of last night's 90210.
Fox primetime begins with Brennan and Booth investigating the true identity and motive of a small community's pastor after his remains are discovered on a new Bones. Then it's an hour of 'Til Death featuring circumcision decisions, meatball sub secrets and Alan Thicke.
A new Knight Rider on NBC finds the crew on a mission to stop terrorist weapons from being smuggled into the U.S. Next, some of the contestants are stepping up their workouts on part two of The Biggest Loser: Families. Finally, Nico clashes with the company's new CEO on a new Lipstick Jungle.
Over on cableThe MythBusters take a car trip blindfolded to examine how well someone can drive with their sight impaired (ummm...is this a good idea?!) on the Discovery Channel.
It's part one of the season finale of Bravo's Project Runway, and the designers gear up for the unveiling of their lines during New York's fashion week. Then, on a new Top Design, the team goes green to help redecorate offices in an environmental consulting firm.
