Tina Fey gets Sarah Palin perfect again

Oct 1, 2008 at 12:22 p.m. ET

Who's better than Tina Fey? On Saturday night, Fey appeared once again as Sarah Palin in an opening sketch which drew the highest ratings of the past seven years for SNL.

And don't get us started on the accent, the demeanor or Fey's ability to capture Palin's nuances. What is so striking about this part of the Katie Couric interview series that never seems to end is how much Fey did not improvise. Eighty percent of those words coming out of Fey's mouth were actually said by Palin.

What that says is up to the political pundits!

Reportedly Fey has signed on to do these bits every week until the election.
