DJ AM released from hospital

DJ AM has been released from a Georgia hospital and is heading home to Los Angeles.

DJ AM, Adam Goldstein, is released from the hospital (right)Recovering from severe burns after a plane crash two weeks ago that claimed the lives of four friends and severely injured Blink 182’s Travis Barker, Adam Goldstein is said to have suffered burns to his face.

His rep issued this statement:

“Adam Goldstein has been released from Doctors Hospital. While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends world wide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends”.

While there is no official word on the status of Barker, friend and producer Jermaine Dupri visited earlier this week and said Barker, who suffered burns over the lower half of his body, is doing as well as could be expected and hopes to issue a statement himself soon.
