The Sarah Connor Chronicles and her Terminator are back

Tonight is the season premiere of one of my other favorite shows, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Which reminds us, so, did you catch HBO’s new vampire series True Blood?

I’m on the fence about it so I’d love to hear what you think.

I also watched another exciting episode of Primeval on BBCAmerica and a very creepy Stargate: Atlantis on Friday. Hmm…I’m sensing a theme. Let’s go one step further and see what Sarah’s up against:

Tonight on TV

Fox follows Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles with Prison Break.

Lena and Brian have reason to pause, more Terminators are coming for John!

ABC starts with the High School Musical: Get in the Picture finale and then it’s time for a little country music with CMA Music Festival 2008.

CBS has all of their long titles on tap tonight The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and CSI: Miami.

NBC has Deal or No Deal, America’s Toughest Job and Dateline NBC.

The CW has new episodes of Gossip Girl (the gang heads back to school!) and One Tree Hill.

Over on cable

On A&E it’s the premiere of Intervention: After Treatment followed by a new Paranormal State.

MTV has new episodes of The Hills and Exiled.

Take Home Nanny and Jon and Kate on TLC with a new The Closer and Raising the Bar on TNT.

Also, check your local listings for several new syndicated shows including The Bonnie Hunt Show, The Doctors, and Judge Karen.

News and notable

Production of 24 has been halted for several weeks because the executive producer is unhappy with the direction of the last few episodes. Scripts will be rewritten and production will resume by the end of the month.

ABC has given a 13 episode order to In the Motherhood which is based on a webseries starring Leah Remini, Chelsea Handler, and Jenny McCarthy.

Ugly Betty’s Jayma Mays joins the cast of the new Fox comedy-musical Glee.

MSNBC dropped Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as political anchors deeming them too opinionated. Ya think?
