Project Runway, Shear Genius, and Ghosts!

Project Runway goes green and Shear Genius makes something out of nothing.

Live from SD, it's SK

It’s Comic Con time!

What, you don’t know Comic Con? It’s the world’s largest media convention and it’s held in San Diego every year at this time. And despite the name of the convention, it’s about a lot more than comics. Every major studio has a booth to promote their TV shows and movies and the freebies are to die for. The casts of my favorite shows will be there to talk and sign autographs; “Supernatural,” “Smallville,” “Chuck,” “Torchwood” and so much more. I’ll fill you in when I get back.

Let’s move on to…

Tonight on TV

Not too much is new tonight except a whole lot of dancing and posing:

ABC has reruns of “Wife Swap” and “Supernanny,” and a new “Primetime: Crime.”

CBS goes with a new “Big Brother” eviction and then it’s repeats of “Criminal Minds” and “CSI: NY.”

NBC has one rerun and one new “Baby Borrowers” and finishes with an old “Law & Order.”

FOX has the final eight on “So You Think You Can Dance.” Don’t miss our interview with Mia Michaels here!

Ready to dance? We are!

The CW goes with old eps of “America’s Next Top Model” and “Pussycat Dolls.”

Over on cable

It’s all happening on Bravo. “Project Runway” goes green and “Shear Genius” deals with balding women.

On SCI FI Channel, the “Ghost Hunters International” hit Ireland and then it’s time for scary pranks on an all new “Scare Tactics.”

TVLand gives you a look at the “Family Foreman” and History Channel’s “Monsterquest” is on the trail of El Chupacabra.

News and notable

With gas prices soaring, Travel Channel will run a special “Staycation” week with shows promoting local vacation ideas.

CBS has put more classic TV shows online including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Have Gun-Will Travel” and “Dynasty.”

If you thought last year’s “Gossip Girl” ads were racy, wait until you see the new ones which are filled with images of the show’s teen stars getting nuzzled, kissed and bedded. SheKnows will have the photos later today!

Keith Carrad, “Beauty and the Beast,” “Have Gun-Will Travel” and the first two seasons of “Dynasty” will have a 3-episode arc on “Numb3rs” and Charisma Carpenter will return to “Greek.”
