Angelina goes home with the twins
Angelina Jolie left the hospital before dawn Saturday a week after giving birth to twins Knox and Vivienne.
Jolie slipped away from the Fondation Lenval hospital in southern France at 4 am, evading press camped out to catch her departure. "The mother and her babies are doing very well," reported a hospital spokesperson.Television cameras caught a white van leaving the hospital through a back entrance around 4 AM. No other vehicles were seen leaving the hospital for several hours.Jolie birthed the twins -- father, of course, is partner Brad Pitt -- after a week-long stay in the Nice hospital, where she checked in early to monitor the pregnancy. The couple rented four rooms on the fifth floor of the maternity ward and had the windows covered with a special material to prevent telephoto lenses from peeking in.For privacy's sake? More likely for money's sake. The couple has brokered a deal with an as-of-yet unnamed magazine for an as-of-yet undisclosed sum to provide first photos of the babies. Jolie and Pitt used the money earned from the first photo shoot of youngest daughter Shiloh with People to support their charity work. First photos of the twins could rake in $15 million.
