Tatum O'Neal guilty and ordered to rehab

Tatum O'Neal has been sentenced to drug treatment for her arrest earlier this summer for buying cocaine from an undercover police officer.

Tatum is getting the help she needs, says father RyanThe Oscar-winning actress was ordered by the judge to therapy after she plead guilty to her arrest for cocaine possession. O'Neal, 44, has had a history of drug problems and has told the press in the last weeks that this arrest was the one thing that had "saved her life."

Ryan O'Neal's daughter has been mostly in the news of late for her problems with drugs, her divorce from tennis star John McEnroe and then the stormy tell-all book she wrote about their tumultuous relationship.

The court in her cocaine possession charge has stated that if she successfully completes her rehab program, the full charges will be dismissed in late September.
