America’s Got Talent premieres

Ten top 10 movies and NBC wonders if America still has talent?

It was week two for “Nashville Star” and one act was sent packing. Read all about it in my SheKnows recap.

I also tuned in to another episode of “Legally Blonde” but my interest in this one is starting to wane. Too much of the same thing week after week. I’ll give it one more, just to see.

Lots of goodies on tonight so let’s get started.

Tonight on TV

CBS presents “AFI’s 10 Top 10” — three hours of the best movies in 10 film genres, and it fills the entire night.

ABC goes with the comedy reruns, “According to Jim,” “Samantha Who?” and then “Boston Legal.”

FOX has “Moment of Truth” and “Hell’s Kitchen” while The CW counters with repeats of “Beauty and the Geek” and “Reaper.”

NBC could take the night with “Deal or No Deal,” followed by the two hour season 3 premiere of “America’s Got Talent.”

Over on cable

Bravo is “Flipping Out” again. Jeff Lewis returns for season two. On FX, “30 Days” hooks a hunter up with a PETA activist and on Discovery, it’s “After the Catch.”

Tori and Dean are back on Oxygen with “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.” The show premieres at 10:00. Style has a new “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway” and WE talks body types on “Secret Lives of Women.”

News and notable

“Ugly Betty’s” Ana Ortiz will pop up on “Army Wives” this summer.

William Hurt will join the cast of “Damages” for the second season.

“ER” is adding four new characters for their final season. Some younger, fresher blood, so to speak.

Miley Cyrus will host the “Teen Choice Awards.”
