Tonight on TV

CBS is the only powerhouse tonight with three finales, “Ghost Whisperer,” “Moonlight,” and “Numb3rs.”
ABC fights back with two hours of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” followed by “20/20.”

NBC replays the season premiere of “American Gladiators” along with “Dateline NBC.”

The CW has “Smackdown” and FOX airs the movie “Dodgeball.” 

Over on cable

E! takes the night with “THS Investigations: Dates Gone Wrong,” and then a helping of “The Soup,” and “Girls Next Door.”

SCI FI fans will cheer for the return of Martha on tonight’s “Doctor Who,” and the “What Not to Wear” gang has a new lady to dress.

If you haven’t seen VH1’s “Celebracadabra,” they’re running two episodes tonight so you can catch up. 

News and notable

— Word is Rob Estes will get a new zip code this fall when he joins the cast of The CW’s “90210” spin-off.

— “The L Word’s” Lauren Lee Smith will be the newest Las Vegas “CSI” replacing Jorja Fox.

— The CW started the season with the addition of three ladies but it looks like only one will remain.  “Smallville’s” Laura Vandervoot in not on the announced cast list for next year, and “Supernatural” has sent Lauren Cohen to the pit.  Looks like “Supernatural’s” Katie Cassidy is the last girl standing.
