‘Ghost Whisperer’ and ‘Moonlight’ shine on tonight’s TV

CBS can’t be beat tonight with “Ghost Whisperer” leading an all-new night through the final “Numb3rs.”

The moon shines on these twoThe moon is shining bright on CBS this evening. With Jennifer Love Hewitt tackling more ghosts on one of the final “Ghost Whisperer” episodes of the season, it is the “Moonlight” that truly captivates.

Tonight on TV

CBS is on top again with a new “Ghost Whisperer,” “Moonlight,” and “Numb3rs.”

ABC goes with a bookend of “20/20 ” with “Duel” in the middle.

NBC has “The Most Outrageous Moments” followed by an extended “Dateline NBC.”

The CW is has wrestling all night long and Fox goes with a movie, “Are We There Yet?” with Ice Cube.

Over on cable

CMT moves into the performance side of their new musical reality show, “Can You Duet?” at 8:00.

E! pretends to be “Dateline” with “THS Investigates” and a story about prom night dangers and the Travel Channel airs a new special at 9:00 called “Disney Royal.”

As always, SCI FI Channel takes over Friday nights with all new episodes of “Sarah Jane Adventures,” “Doctor Who,” and “Battlestar Galactica.”

— Showtime has renewed “Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union.”

— Call it wrestling with the stars – CMT has picked up a series from Hulk Hogan that will have celebs learning to wrestle like the pros.

— After seven seasons, Michael Rosenbaum, the enigmatic Lex Luther, is leaving Smallville.  The rumors have been around for awhile, but he’s written his farewell letter to the fans, so it’s for sure.
