American Idol gets Dolly and Gordon brings back Hell

Fox's competition shows have no competition.

Dolly dazzles the contestants on Idol

Fox has this one in the bag with "American Idol" (get all the coverage at the She Knows American Idol Spot) followed by the premiere of "Hell's Kitchen." Gordon Ramsey turns up the heat on 15 new contestants and you know things are going to get ugly.

ABC vamps with "Just for Laughs" until 9:00 when they air the "Dancing with the Stars" results show followed by a new special called "Live to be 150."

CBS begins with a repeat of "NCIS" but follows with new episodes of "Big Brother 9" and the conclusion of yesterday's "CSI: Miami."  Now that's different.

NBC goes with "The Biggest Loser" and a repeat of "Law & Order: SVU."

Elsewhere it's a "Bad Girls Club" marathon on Oxygen, ending with two new episodes starting at 10:00.

--- Ray Romano returns to TV with a new dramedy on TNT (more on that later.)

--- Kathie Lee Gifford begins her co-hosting duties on "Today" as of Monday.

--- William Petersen has signed a contract to stay with "CSI" through the new season (which kinda surprises me.)

--- According to TVGuide, Eddie Cibrean, the handsome star of so many things will be joining "Ugly Betty" this year.
