Oscar winner spouts 9/11 conspiracy theories

Fresh off her Oscar victory a week ago, French actress Marion Cotillard is causing anger across America because of her comments about 9/11.

Marion kills Oscar goodwillDuring an interview with a French televison show, the actress said:

"I think we're lied to about a number of things," she said. Cotillard then went on to specifically site the attacks on the World Trade Center. "We see other towers of the same kind hit by planes. Are they burned? There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, that burnt for 24 hours. It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there (in New York), in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed."

To say the 32-year-old has damaged a solid reputation born of Oscar joy may be the understatement of the year.
