Catch your favorite NBC stars -- now in the commercial breaks, too!

Heroes of a different kindFor 19 years (can you believe it), NBC has been clueing us in with their "The More You Know" public service campaign.  These short ads are based on the idea that you'll listen if your favorite star tells you to do it and I think it works. We've been told how to listen to our kids, find missing children and thank a teacher.

This year, the stars are going green with a new season of PSA's starring some of NBC's hottest talents.

Take a look at this roster:

Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes); Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl); Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni (Law and Order: SVU); Jerome Bettis and Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports); Linda Cardellini (ER); Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims and James Lesure (Las Vegas); Jesse Martin and Jeremy Sisto (Law & Order); Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs); and Ann Curry and Tiki Barber (NBC News).

This year, "The More You Know" family has expanded to include top cable talent: Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice, USA), Tim Gunn (Project Runway and Guide To Style, Bravo), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, SciFi) and María Celeste (Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste, Telemundo).

This year's campaign focuses on issues such as pollution, global warming, and recycling. In addition to eco-awareness, the campaign continues to address important issues such as diversity, drinking and driving and Internet safety.

So don't skip the commercials or you may miss your favorite star telling you that it is really easy to be green.
