Amongst the flurry of young Hollywood hitting the rehab world, actress Sean Young has joined the club. The 48 year-old actress entered rehab today for alcohol abuse after Young was tossed from Saturday's Directors Guild Awards.

After recent interviews where Young sounded downright angry about her place on the Hollywood food chain, her visit to rehab is hardly a surprise. During a recent interview she pontificated how she should have had Julia Roberts career.

A history of violence

This is the same actress, who on the verge of that type of career, made a movie called "The Boost" with James Woods. Her behavior on the set was well documented to the point where Woods had to take a restraining order out against Young. The film about a couple addicted to cocaine fueled rumors that the actors were taking their parts a little too seriously. After Woods and Young's flameout (the two said they were never an item) casting agents were terrified at giving the actress parts for fear of a repeat performance.

Fast forward a decade and a half and on the heels of being escorted out of a gathering that might have helped her career, she only launched into a tirade that further enhanced her reputation.

Rehab sounds like a very good idea.
