On Sept. 11, Ashton Kutcher came onto ESPN’s “College GameDay” as a guest commentator. It was there that football fans booed him for his prediction of the Colorado Buffaloes beating the Texas A&M Aggies. Soon after the boos came the heckling, with the chant “Take a shower!” echoing through the field.
It seems as though people just can’t let go of the fact that Kutcher and his family bathe differently. A few weeks ago, news came out that A-List couple, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, don’t bathe as much as Twitter wish they did.
During an episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the couple shared that they don’t believe in bathing their kids until they see dirt on them. “Now, here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them,” Kutcher said. “Otherwise, there’s no point.” Along with that, they take up that philosophy on their own, not just for their kids.
Now this news left Twitter shocked and appalled. But this incident has made fans realize how trivial it is.
One Twitter user wrote, “As he’s highlighting, yet another charity that he is working with (he’s one of the most charitable celebrities)…it’s really despicable that the comments about bathing his kids is what gets the attention.”
Studies have shown that showering too much (or too little) can lead to a slew of health problems.
The family hasn’t let the hate get to them, though. And good for them.
