Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh is turning 14 on May 27, and dad Pitt is already dreaming up what kind of celebration he’d like to have with his not-so-little girl. But while it sounds like Shiloh is guaranteed a birthday celebration at mom Jolie’s house, along with siblings Vivienne, Knox, Zahara, Maddox, and Pax, it’s unclear whether Pitt will be able to pull off the birthday that he plans. While Jolie and Pitt have no doubt discussed a co-parenting relationship for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown, their mom has had primary custody since the split — and it sounds like Pitt is hoping, but not counting on, getting to ring in Shiloh’s 14th.
According to an Us Weekly source, Pitt has been dreaming up an elaborate day of fun for his kids. “She’ll have a separate celebration at her mom’s, [but] Brad would be delighted to have all his kids over for the party,” the source explained. “Brad plans to organize a lot of fun stuff at his compound, like outdoor games and other surprises.”
Pitt has reportedly been making a huge effort to be more present in his kids’ lives in recent months, particularly when it comes to repairing his relationship with son Maddox. And he’s made sure that Shiloh’s grandparents are involved in her special day: parents Bill and Jane have reportedly already sent gifts, and are working on a cake for their granddaughter.
While Shiloh’s birthday plans may end up being determined more by public health concerns than co-parenting logistics, we’re sure Pitt’s efforts to be there for his kids won’t go unnoticed.
