Trolls World Tour is now available for streaming and star Kelly Clarkson is bringing the Trolls hype all day long. On her new video-chat version of The Kelly Clarkson Show, she interviewed fellow stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake about the newly released sequel — and, like so many parents on Zoom these days, found that her young kids couldn’t resist popping in to say hi. And of course, Kendrick and Timberlake were more than happy to accommodate the young Trolls aficionados.
Clarkson has two kids with husband Brandon Blackstock, daughter Rain and son Remy. The singer introduced her kids to her Trolls co-stars, using their Trolls character names since her kids had just been watching the movie.
“We were just watching Trolls, so this is Branch and this is Poppy,” she showed her kids. “Can you say hi?”
It looks like Kendrick has an especially big fan in 6-year-old River: “I love your acting, Anna,” she told her shyly.
As it turns out, Clarkson’s kids are serious Trolls fans — so serious, they almost didn’t forgive Clarkson for her role in the sequel.
“My kids, they were just so concerned I was a mean one because in the preview it looked like I was mean to y’all because I was at first,” Clarkson confessed. “They were so mad. They were like, ‘We can’t even, you’re not our mom because you’re mean to Poppy.'”
Hey, that sounds like sound logic to us!
