Gwen Stefani Cancels Las Vegas Concert Due to Illness

Get well soon, Gwen Stefani! The singer has fallen ill and has been forced to cancel her most recent Las Vegas show due to her health.

I am so sorry, but I am still not feeling well & will be unable to perform my #JustAGirlVegas show Saturday, February 8 at @ZapposTheater at @PHVegas,” she shared on Twitter. “I am doing everything I can to get well & plan to be back on stage for my shows February 12 – 22. Thank u for all of the well wishes. Hope to see you back in Vegas soon.”

Along with the message, the 50-year-old added the hashtags, “#onlyhuman”, “#imsorry”, and “#loveuguys”. Luckily, fans were very supportive of the singer’s unfortunate news. One fan responded on Twitter, “I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well. Your health is so very important. Please take care of yourself and know that we are all sending you all the love and well wishes to feel better.”

Though the details of Stefani’s illness are currently unknown, we’re hopeful she will have a speedy recovery and get back to doing what she does best — performing! Just two short weeks ago, she lit up the stage with her longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton at the 2020 Grammys where the couple performed their highly anticipated duet, “Nobody But You.”

“This was one of those songs where the more I heard it, the more I fell in love with it. I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life,” the country singer admitted of the romantic love song, before his girlfriend was even involved. “It fits my story. I was about to go in and record when I decided that it needed Gwen on it — because it is our song. I think it’s magic.”

And together, the song is magic, with lyrics that perfectly describe their love story like, “Wanna say it now, wanna make it clear / For only you and God to hear / When you love someone, they say you set ’em free / But that ain’t gonna work for me.”

Though the couple is not currently engaged, fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for Shelton to pop the question — which is something that he’s openly teased to the public.

“Anybody that thinks I am married to Gwen already, I love it,” he said recently with a laugh. “My God, who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?”
